Yosemite Valley Floor Tour Description
Yosemite One-Day Tour. Our one-day tour of Yosemite National Park is a great way to get the most out of your Yosemite Valley Floor Tour. The reason why we do not go to the Giant Sequoia Trees within Yosemite is because it's too far from the Valley Floor where the popular rock formations are. You can always see large old trees at Muir Woods (just 20 minutes from San Francisco) on our Muir Woods Tour but we think you're paying to actually go to Yosemite and stay on the Yosemite Valley Floor as long as possible. Too many times we have seen customers shocked that we are leaving Yosemite so early only to see a bunch of trees. We think you will agree.
Our Yosemite One-Day Tour maximizes the time you spend in Yosemite National Park by starting early and traveling in luxury in a 26-passenger shuttle bus. This allows us to cover both Yosemite Valley Floor in one day and spend more time in the park (at least 6 hours) which is more than any other one day Yosemite tour available because they're too busy driving you an hour to see trees. In the Yosemite Valley leg, we generally stop to see El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, Bridalveil Falls, Inspiration Point (aka Tunnel View), and Yosemite Village, where our tour guide will provide many guided walks of things you need to see.

Yosemite 1 Day Tour
| 8:00 AM | Depart the San Francisco Ferry Building. Hotel pickup is purposely not offered so we don't waste time in the shuttle on such a mundane task. |
| 8:20 AM | West Oakland Bart Station pickup (if necessary). |
| 8:40 AM | Dublin/Pleasanton Bart Station pickup (if necessary). |
| 8:40 - 10:00 AM | Continuing east, see the windmills and descend into the San Joaquin valley and stop for a break and a snack. |
| 11:15 - NOON | Begin the climb into the foothills, through gold country, and up into the Sierra Nevada range and Yosemite National Park. |
| NOON - 1:00 PM | Explore Yosemite's many amazing sights with an informative narrated tour from your guide. Be amazed by Bridalveil Falls, El Capitan, Inspiration Point, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and more! Enjoy a mini-hike and plenty of photo stops around the Yosemite Valley. |
| 1:00 - 2:30 PM | Stop for lunch (meal not included in price) and then the Guided Walks throughout the Yosemite Valley Floor commence. |
| 2:30 - 3:00 PM | Take the Yosemite Park Shuttle (guided again) to more unique areas of the Yosemite Park. Most other tours leave by now to head to see the trees an hour away, but we realize you do not wish to leave at this point. |
| 3:00 - 4:00 PM | See great lakes, more falls, more secluded areas. Continue to take amazing pictures of the granite rock formations. See rivers, wildlife and more. Suddenly you never want to leave Yosemite and you wish you booked our 2 Day Yosemite Tour. |
| 4:00 - 6:00 PM | Start the return trip, descending from the Sierras, with more great scenery as we follow the sun to the west. |
| 6:00 - 6:30 PM | Stop for a break, a stretch, and a bite to eat. |
| 6:30 - 9:30 PM | Continue back to San Francisco, enjoying views of the sunset over the East Bay hills, or the Peninsula and the city lights. |
