This Yosemite Tour by Train (1 Day) is very popular. Book Early. No other tour company from San Francisco or East Bay, California has the Amtrak train option as part of their Yosemite tour. On the way home we are taking a shuttle back to the Train Station and then another 2 hour Amtrak train ride (with restrooms and cafe).
One of the options to consider: is Pricing Option #3, booking the 2 Hour Open-Air
Tram Tour that is guided by Park Rangers for an additional $25 above the $129 adult price above. If you do this, it's an open air tram (weather permitting) so bring a hat to reduce sun exposure. It's one of the best valley floor tours around (if not, the best). If you choose not to do the 2 hour tram tour, you will get free time on your own.
Note: The key location point is Yosemite Lodge at the Falls Hotel. That is where you will be dropped off and that is where you will pick up our shuttle at 4:30 pm to start your return trip to San Francisco. No worries, there is a Tour Guide with you during these important elements of the tour such as during the train and shuttle rides to give you important information and make sure you do not get lost during the tour. Finally, we provide hotel drop-off for San Francisco customers who are staying at either a Union Square or Financial District hotel.
