Muir woods national monument is a unit of national park service located 11 miles north of the golden gate bridge. It is located in Marin county California, a fantastic place to enjoy the ride through the largest urban national park islands and a short drive to the north of San Francisco. The Muir woods national monument is cool, shaded and moist year round. It is the first national monument created in urban setting to enable easy access for the people. Muir woods is a old grown coastal redwood forest that offers lodging/camping, activities like hiking and biking and even weddings are allowed with proper permit from the monument.Ferry Building
Let's start our Muir woods tour by initiating from ferry building. It is a terminal place for ferries to travel across the San Francisco.
Marin Headlands
Marin headlands is a unique hilly area in Golden Gate National Recreation Area that covers various types of histories from Miwok Indians to military including historic fort Barry and fort cronkhite, the Nike missile site and the 150 year old point Bonita lighthouse. It is located at southernmost end of Marin county California just north of golden gate bridge. Other attractions include hiking trails, dog friendly rodeo beach and stunning views of bay area and golden gate bridge.

Muir Woods
Next to Marin headlands, the shuttle moves on to Muir woods. It is the only tour that takes a long time.
Muir Beach
Next in the itinerary, we have a look at Muir beach. An excellent place located in California about 3 km from the entrance to Muir woods national monument. Muir beach is about 1000 feet long and 200 feet wide with coarse sand and large boulders. Parking facilities are available at the beach. People can enjoy their pleasure in the beach.
Sausalito
Following the list we move on to Sausalito, a San Francisco bay area city located in Marin county California United States. it is a world renowned for the Mediterranean flair and breathtaking views, hospitality, hotels and retorts.
Ferry Bay Cruise
Ferry bay cruise is the nicest itinerary in the tour that the ferry goes right by Alcatraz to get back to the ferry building. It is a great place from where we start our tour.
Following the list we move on to Sausalito, a San Francisco bay area city located in Marin county California United States. it is a world renowned for the Mediterranean flair and breathtaking views, hospitality, hotels and retorts.

San Francisco has good visitor attraction because of number of activities & sightseeing taking place. The place becomes the heart of California.
Golden Gate Park
Golden Gate Park is the large urban park consisting of 1017 acres of public grounds. It is the third most visited city park in United States.
Fisherman’s wharf
Fisherman’s wharf is a popular tourist attraction in San Francisco encompasses the northern waterfront area of San Francisco and a well known location of pier 39, San Francisco maritime national historical park.
Golden Gate Bridge
Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge opening San Francisco bay into Pacific Ocean. It is the longest suspension bridge in the world.
Boudin Sourdough and Bakery Tour
Opened in 2005 spring. The boudin flagship building is observed fully of bakery action. More visitors can be seen here. It is located at fisherman’s wharf and every year, more number of visitors are enjoying there tour.
De Young Museum
M.H. de museum is commonly called as de Young museum. It is a fine art museum located at San Francisco Golden Gate Park. The museum has been established in the year 1895 and now it exhibits more numbers of fine art collections.
Metreon in Yerba Buena
It is a shopping center located at the downtown of San Francisco built over the corner of the underground moscone center. The complex has an mix of bay area best restaurants, shopping venues, exhibitions, shopping, theatres, entertainment destinations including west coast largest IMAX theatre.
Presidio of San Francisco
It is a park on the northern tip of San Francisco peninsula in San Francisco. It is a national park and recreational paradise offering changing exhibits about the presidio, information about activities, sights in the park and books.

Exploratorium is a museum in San Francisco exhibits variety of its collection through web casts, websites and events. It offers an interactive exhibition that makes learning interesting and familiar with art and science.
Winchester Mystery House
The house is a well known tourist attraction in California. Today, the Winchester mystery house is a well known California mansion that was under construction for 38 years. Its strange construction and purpose remains mystery.
